Chiropractic for Kids
Pediatric chiropractic care is all about setting the stage for our kids to live the healthy and successful life we’ve always hoped for. But, reality is that currently, over 40% of our kids are dealing with chronic health conditions and many times our parents are left unheard and with that gut feeling of “there has to be something else that will help.”
One of the things we hear so often is “they’ll grow out of it” when struggling with things like colic, constipation, sleep, recurrent ear infections, allergies, sensory issues, developmental delays and so much more.
Really, these things are setting our kids onto the path and they are “growing into” these chronic illnesses, which is what we call “the perfect storm.” But we know our kids are designed to be healthy!
When we take a step back, figure out what is causing our kids to get sick and starting with the basics, we are able to see these kids restore their health step-by-step and move from struggling to healthy and thriving.
Common Conditions we see:
Sensory Processing Disorders
Torticollis and Plagiocephaly
and so much more
Giavanna had just turned two when we met her. She had a few challenges she was dealing with, she was not currently walking yet and she was also dealing with chronic constipation since birth.
Here is what her family has to say about their experience:
“We felt like there was no hope for her. We had tried physical therapy for over six months with little to no change. We just prayed for the Lord to heal her legs so she could be up and moving. However, we were told the likelihood of that happening past her second birthday was not likely. Giavanna was very frustrated and would often give up and refuse to try to do more. Coaxing her would just make her angry.
Care at Steadfast was different from the first phone call. You gave us hope and explained everything to us in a way that was understandable, and it made complete sense. We saw results faster than anything else we tried!
We realized chiropractic care was working when Giavanna had her first soft stool. We have no idea when that last happened, if ever. Gia’s first adjustment was in January and she started walking all over the place on February 1st, at 25 months.
We have so much hope that she will lead a normal life. We don’t have to worry about any obstacles with mobility like we did before. We don’t have to worry constantly if there is something significantly wrong with her that we are unaware of, or need to have further testing that could be traumatic to her.
She is so proud of herself and her confidence is soaring!”
Indy was a few weeks old when we noticed he wouldn’t turn his head to the left. He was born by emergency C-section which can be stressful on a baby’s neck.
It is overwhelming when you’re a first time parent and your baby isn’t acting “normal.” We were referred to Steadfast by our doula and saw an immediate improvement in Indy.
Indy was doing tummy time about two weeks into chiropractic care and he lifted his head and turned it to the left with ease. At Steadfast they focus on your whole body, not just your problem area. We also believe Indy was so ahead of his milestones because his body was functioning so well.
He is now an active one year old and he is thriving! We love continuing his care as he grows and moves to keep his body healthy and comfortable.
